Our factories, strategically located around the world and where our customers are concentrated, gives us direct access to the electronic components markets around the world and a highly trained and well equipped labor force focused on our customers’ priorities. This level of vertical integration means that we can respond rapidly to component shortages by accessing our global supply base and coupled with access to our design engineers who are capable of quickly redesigning products to overcome supply chain issues, we can minimize any risk of supply chain disruptions to our customers.
Three years ago ACTIA opened its newest factory in Romulus, Michigan to serve its North American customers. This factory was a kind of cut-and-paste of our factories using the same equipment, methods, tools, etc. This allows for greater sharing of best practices between our sites and offers the highly sought-after redundancy required by many of our customers.
